Wonderful beach
Dec 2019 • Couples
Even though the Tel Avivians were wearing jackets and scarves - it is winter there, I wore shorts and a t-shirt to enjoy the balmy 25 degree temperature. Everyone said it was extraordinarily warm, but I'll take it coming from Canada.
This is part of the extraordinary Mediterranean beach that flanks the City and it is wonder. It is well-kept and has great facilities. It is easily accessible through a variety of means, but especially so by bike or scooter.
A great place to play, swim or just sit and watch the action.

Nice beach
Nov 2019 • Couples
This is a nice beach close to many Tel Aviv attractions, the beach is clean but a bit overcrowded in summer afternoons, I would advise to come early. Dizengoff is within minutes walk with all the bars, cafes and shops.

Urban beach
Nov 2019
I am not a fan of urban beaches, but since all the beaches in Tel Aviv are urban I had no other option.
A clean beach, with fine sand and a decent price for two sunbeds and umbrella, about 6 euros, the payment is made to the machines that are at the entrance to the beach.
26 degrees in mid-November.

My favorite beach spot
Oct 2019
The water is great. This is the Mediterranean! The beach is well cared for. It is clean. There are chairs, reclining chairs and Sunbrella‘s for rent. There is a guy walking around with a menu so you can order food and drink from your relaxing chair. You can hear every language spoken. I’m always sorry when I have to leave.

Lovely quiet beach in the heart of Tel Aviv
Jul 2019 • Couples
Lovely water and beautiful place to sit on the edge of the water or dip into the water. Unfortunately, this trip there were Jelly fish that ruined the enjoyment of being in the water.

The best in Tel Aviv
May 2019 • Family
For my point of vewier the most interesting (if you don't care about museums!) and pleasant places in Tel Aviv is Jaffa Old City and Tel Aviv Enbankment.

Heart of Tel Aviv beaches
Apr 2019 • Family
Great beach with sugary soft sand and protected by a barrier make this beach an excellent swimming and sunbathing location Located in the middle of the resort hotels, this is really the heart of all of the Tel Aviv beaches. The are restaurants and bars that line this beach. Just look both ways before you cross the bike path as you will likely need to dodge cyclists, runners and scooters to make your way to the sand.

Amazing day
Apr 2019
It was Election Day in Israel and not only was it a Public Holiday but the weather was fantastic.
The hordes descended on the beach and what an amazing day it turned out.
As it was Spring the water was still cool but warm enough for me to swim. There were no waves to speak of.
You cannot compare the sand to a Bondi sand or the waves but the atmosphere is amazing and people are allowed to smoke whatever they like on the beach,Dogs come and music is blaring all around and people are friendly.Great spirit on this beach.
Really enjoyed this as it is so different to an Australian Beach.

No Swimming Here
Apr 2019 • Couples
There appears to be a pretty good rip tide in this area so the beach is plastered with no swimming signs. We even heard recording saying to stay out of the water.

Eight tips for Bograshov
Apr 2019 • Couples
It was election day, time off for most Israelis, and the crowds at Bograshov Beach were thick, young and joyful. There were No Swimming! signs all over the place as no life guards are stationed there. I’m not sure if it says anything about Tel Aviv civic character, but the signs were blissfully ignored. Apparently “swimming” is a relative term, however, as the water is shallow, barely over my knees 25 yards out. And everyone could rightfully claim to be “wading.” Here are some other things to know.
• The changing rooms are small, crowded and without lockers or private spaces. No towel service.
• The sand is smooth, the water clean. You don’t need water shoes.
• Short of topless, it seems like any style of bathing suit from thong to board shorts goes. “Permitted” is probably a Jerusalem word.
• Closer to the water, it’s crowded but gentle. Just look for daylight and put your towel down. Your new neighbors will greet you with a nod, smile or indifference.
• Beach chairs are plentiful and available for a fee.
• Off leash dogs playing with each other and their owners were exceptionally well-behaved.
• No frisbees or paddle balls got anywhere near me.
• The few street level cafes seemed uninteresting. Better to choose one of the lively venues along Ben Zion Street which ends at the beach.
