The Ded Sea is a Must See !

It's a cool place to visit of course ... I can't imagine anyone going to Jordan without consider to drop by to see the dead sea

The first time I visited the Dead Sea, after hearing people go on and on about it and how great it was, was September 2014. We accessed it via a public beach, which had no entrance fee. The alternative was to pay 20-25 JOD per person to access via one of the hotels on the beach. Being from the U.S.... More

no public transportation to serve this attraction on Friday ! on third transfer from amman to karak, karak to qasr then was told there was no bus service on the final part ! WTF !

The Dead Seal lived up to expectation. I went through the Dead Sea Spa and even though there were signs all over the ground, warning that there were no life guards, there was a local guide on the beach peddling the dead sea mud which he had in a barrel. a must see and feel experience.. a dried in time sea turned in to a pool , now named dead sea. no life, no fish but miraclously revitalizing to your skin too flaot in the water.

sure it was an unusual unforgettable experience...when you walk in to the water to some distance you feel as though you are pushed up..due to the density of the saline water,10 times saltier than any sea! Avoid water getting in to your eyes..incase it does, clean your eyes with fresh water immediately..otherwise the eye turns red the whole day..there are... More

Overlooking the Dead Sea surrounded by mountain range on opposite side was special...I was at Ramada Resort, the access to the sea was via a dirt road. The water was clear, alongside a pebbled ' entrance' , 2-3 meters into the sea, a sand flooring. Floating in the water was calming. I liked the range of colours of the tiny... More
