Worth a visit when you are Downtown as it is so unexpected! It's also then worth going around the corner for a slice of knafeh - the long queue is testament to its quality!

Other than the fact that's one of the oldest building in downtown , there is nothing special about it. You have to climb 28 steps ( many of them broken , so mind your steps!!!) . The flat has nothing special: ordinary furniture, old pictures...More

Fairly easy to find and worth a quick visit. The Duke is really friendly. Gives you an insight into the Amman of 50-60 years ago.

You will pass it on downtown walking tour. We were given a free tour and it was a nice surprise . Last of mansions from Ottoman era.

The Duke of Mukhyber's Residence is a rather odd place. It was quite difficult to find. l I had almost given up and went into the Al Rasheed Court Cafe for some refreshment only to discover I could see the 'Duke's Residence' from their balcony!...More
