This was my first time to be in a turkish bath and probably not the last one. My friend said he has been in a lot of them and this is the best even when comparing to ones in Turkey. Steam sauna and hot baths where someone keeps bringing you water and hibiscus juice do you won't dehydrate is just... More

I was recommended to visit Al-Pasha whilst in Amman, and it was certainly worth it. It is a short 2km stroll from the Hyatt and Intercontinental hotels, and although i visited with a small group, it becomes a very personal experience. Two hours of relaxing in a steam room, cleansing, scrubbing, massaging, exfoliating and pampering finished off by tea and... More

Visited Al-Pasha with a Syrian friend of mine. It was not really planned, but we just dropped in while passing by. I had no idea what I was into, but it turned out to be a really nice experience. The staff was nice and friendly, and explained everything to me who they probably thought was kind of lost. We had... More

I had an overnight stay in the dessert at Wadi Rum and headed for Al Pasha the following day which was perfect, no reservation just turned up. Up umpteen flights of stairs from the old city to Rainbow Street, what a lovely name, pretty area lots of trees, café’s, little shops, had to ask a few people before I found... More

I really don't do reviews very often , I have to do this one. This place is listed in Lonely Planet as a must visit. I will explain my visit, when I arrived there were 7 other men in front of me so it was very busy. When I went into the steam room I was just left there in... More

Conveniently located just off Rainbow Street, this reasonably priced bath house is definitely worth a stop to wind down. It's not the newest place, but it is very clean ( I was with a friend who is highly allergic to mould and mildew and she didn't react to any area in the place) At 25JD, the 1.5-2 hour treatment process... Very well organized. Staff very complacent. You might have one preference over the other for the massage session. I had a lady who knew what she was doing! I never had a massage so thorough. I didn't catch her name, but I know she was the only Sudanese lady. The Hamman is set for Ladies in the morning and Gentlemen... More

This small hamam was very relaxing after 4 days hiking in the desert. Certainly intimate and the staff was nice. The experience lasts 90 mins and includes a wash and full body massage. You can add extras from JD 7 to 10. It opens at 9 for the ladies so I went before my flight. At JD 25 it is... More
