I really enjoyed my visit to the museum. It tells history from the Muslim perspective which is different from any other museum I have visited before. It was a great learning experience.

A very interesting museum to learn the history of Saudi Arabia and Islam, a must-see when in Riyadh. The museum is well organised, all exhibits have explanations in both Arabic and English. Entrance fee a symbolic 10 SAR.

When compared to other "National Museums" in the region such as the one in Amman or even the Forth in Dubai, the Riyadh Museum really lacks interesting pieces to see, but there is not that much to visit in that city, so let's call it a must see attraction. The most interesting area were the gardens, just to see kids... More

Although there seems to be very limited items on display in the Saudi National Museum, I would say it's worth visiting still as you won't be seeing those articles in your everyday life. I was greeted with a meteorite which said to have been found in the empty quarter. And the history started to unravel as you go through the... More

This place is a must visit. They have different sections general history, local history and culture and Islamic history as well. Audio-visual, movies and exhibits are there at appropriate places depicting the various things. One can easily spend a few hours here. The souvenir shop is a rip off though.

there are a number of parts in this museum and the transitions between the sections are artistic. If you are in Riyadh and have free 3 hours then this place is a top pick visit.
