Have visited many times but yesterday's visit was sooo disappointing. Bar dirty and unmanned. When staff eventually tipped up they did not have ingredients to make drinks. Fridges not cooling at all and all filthy dirty. Don't think they were even switched on. All glasses dirty and were not even washed correctly. We decided to leave without eating due to... More

No proper maintenance of rooms, and the resort is not too friendly for room guest. No in room service and many amenities in the room are either broken or do not work (eg. phone, AC remotes, lights etc). Check out is strictly at 12 PM but they start to push you to move out of the room from 11 AM... More

Wow. 12 BD for the boat ride...not bad. 15 minutes on the bay... then arrive at a decent attempt of a Fantasy Island-like experience. The staff OK. (Most kinda make you feel like you should tip for absolutely everything. The beach is OK. Rocky. And the trash is sometimes a challenge. (But they do their best to keep up with... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Al Dar Islands from the moment we were speeding across the bay. The island is much smaller than we expected but has all the facilities we needed. We hired sun beds (surprised this cost isn't included in overall cost ) and had no problem finding an umbrella to shade under. We visited on a... More

Al dar is less than an hour away from centre of Bahrain. Need to take a trip to Sitra and take a ferry from there. The prices are a little high. The place is amazing which clean beaches, beach beds, where you can relax with your family or friends. For a day trip you could rent a bed for the... More

I have been hearing all the rave of how this is the spot to be during summertime as there are activities that are available in the island itself. So I was expecting a somewhat decent and fun experience. Unfortunately, it wasn't even close to that. Upon arrival to Sitra, you buy your tickets for access in the island. (entrance fee... More
