An interesting blend of market and shopping streets. There was a wide range of merchandise available from watches & spices to gold. Having had a good explore, top it off with an Arabic breakfast at one of the resteraunts.

I'm a local and I love going there even if I don't need anything. walking there makes me happy. It's a great tourist attraction if you want to see the old Bahraini life, it still exists there. Your experience would be better in winter.

It is a great area for shopping (many vendors). Very good prices, and they are willing to negotiate price on most products.
