Tehran's Cinema Museum is one of the best of its kind in the world, on a par with similar institutions in Paris and Berlin, and absolutely essential for lovers of world cinema. Even for those already familiar with Iranian film, the breadth and depth of the country's achievement comes a revelation. Initial galleries chronicle the birth of the national movie... More

The outside of this building is beautiful, and the gardens are very pleasant. Go if you are knowledgeable about Iranian films, or interested in the history of film, or its technology. For those of us who are not interested in the history of film in Iran, or its technology, it was pretty boring.

In case you are exhausted after a long walk, you can have either a nice hot drink or a snack in Viuna cafe, right in... More

After many excursions discovering the history of Iran, visiting this museum is highly refreshing! You get to see the old and new Iran together in one place. The museum is "friendly" enough to educate non-Iranians on their film industry which they're very proud of. There's enough illustrations in English to guide you, Too bad there aren't any English subtitles during... More
