Varamin the city of Nomads, Deserts & Green St.

Close to The capital of Iran with history of 2500 year back to silk-road era.having its own persian accent with more than 200 villages around and near the central desert of Iran.

Many times as a child I have come to Varamin to visit family and now as an adult I come back retracing my steps and it's fantastic. A slow paced farm town with a grand Bazar that sells everything. Freshest seasonal fruits and vegetables readily available. A beautiful park and carnival on top of a hill overlooking the village. I... More

This area is too amazing close enough to dessert for feelings hot weather of dessert in the day time when it mix with mountains freez wind.

varamin gets too hot in summer (too hot that you can not bear with it) and it also gets too cold in winters. So make sure you come prepared!!

And you will be ok..Its not worth bothering with.Much nicer places you can visit.I 'd not bother and stay by the AC.

a little but very religiose city(muslem)+it has a very famous tower stills awake from long time a go it named "toghrol tower" +but the fact is that the city has nothing vs its very popular dessert ,there is a wild land and have a protected area,u can even ride a camell there :)

I went there with some friend and good thing is that we all speak persian, otherwise it could be impossible to find places to see. Eventhough some places were closed but we saw some nomads and the place is quite.

Varamin is one of the historical city near Tehran. Varamin or Varna foun 300 years ago even in Avesta the Zartosht holly book they called this city Varna :The fourteenth of the good lands and countries which I, Ahura Mazda, created, was the four-cornered Varena, for which was born Thraetaona, who smote Azi Dahaka.
