This is a very dynamic lively street with places where you can eat late and is close to the American university. I especially recommend the ice cream cafes.

Cheap eats, drinks, gathering for all ages, number one street for what it offers from university, school, print houses, restaurants, cafes, banks, bookshops, travel agencies, shops, and more.

Right across the American University of Beirut you'll find many small food places that sell sandwiches and quick bites. It's usually crowded. At the beginning of the street you'll find a parking building (next to Paul), and some nice places to hang out with friends...More

Very close to Hamra street near AUB and Manarah district. A few hotels and restaurants and cafes. Not as interesting as Hamra street and busier traffic-wise but unavoidable if you are visiting AUB or anything in the Ras Beirut area.

Being AUB's main street, perfect for young and active people. Several cafes, fast food, and snack shops to grab a sandwich. No fancy restaurants. Mainly Lebanese love this area because every single person has memories here during teenage years and early 20's.
