We used a taxi from our hotel in Muscat for OMR 10 each way to the Al Mouj (The Wave) port in the eastern part of Muscat. We were told there is a daily snorkeling boat that leaves at 8:30AM (Daymniyat Shells) for OMR 25/person, including the 35 min run to the islands, 3-4 snorkeling stops around the islands, drinks,... I went on a tour with the Daymniyat Shells LLC. out of Al Mouj port at the Wave, to the Daymainyat islands to snorkel. We had chosen this company because we heard that the captain and guide is respectful in the environment of the sea and Islands near by the snorkeling. This is important to us because of how the... Stayed at the Millenium Resort in Mussanah and dived with Sea Oman. Trip was at end of October. En route to the islands we went through whale shark territory and were lucky enough to snorkel with whale sharks on each of the 3 days - these were only babies about 5-6 meters long. Once at the islands visibility was 30... More

Visited the island in the beginning of March for a weekend. Went by car to Muscat from Dubai. Wanted to camp overnight on the island and do some snorkeling and diving, so decided to go via a tourist agency and not to try to hire a local fishermen boat. Left we organising for the last moment, so had to call... More

Al Daymaniyat Islands are just only an hour sail from Muscat. Unbelievably beautiful sea life, like on the Discovery channel. Coral riffs and all shapes and colour of fish: blue and yellow and stripy and silver and small and huuge. If you are lucky you can meet a whale shark, about 20m guy that eats plankton. This nature reserve is... More

We had an amazing experience with Fahad and Lea at Daymaniyat Shells LLC out of the Al Mouj/The Wave Marina. From the first email contact with a speedy response time to stepping of the brand new boat back at the marina, everything was perfect. Farad was a wonderful captain and guide! The company provides clean towels, water and juices, snacks... More
