Too often a visit to an art museum is overwhelming. This museum is an exquisite jewel box that can easily be done in three hours and leave time for a coffee in the beautiful dining area. Incredible views and the building by I.M. Pei is stunning.

It is a very nice, modern, new building. There is a very good sitting place, kind of cafeteria inside but i found it poor as a museum. Not much to see and not very interesting. But if you want to have a coffee in a brand new, huge building where there is sea view in front of you, it is... More

Really interesting artefacts from around the Islamic world from Spain in the west to China in the east. Fascinating collection of ceramics, glass, wood, metal and stonework. Definitely worth a visit and great to see Mohammed Ali exhibits on the top floor.

Interesting museum with a range of interesting artifacts. What I found also impressive is the architecture of the museum itself, as well as its view towards west bay and the MIA park. Walking distance to souq waqif - worth a visit when in Doha!

A nicely multistory constructed museum with different exhibition halls. Qatar don't have long history but this museum has thing in display from around the world. It has good collection of historical jewelry and swords. Some informative sessions are also being arranged time to time. Can enjoy nice dining in cafes.
