strange location!

its been there for years but only recently thought to enter! its amazing from inside, well maintained, remainder of Doha past and glimpse of future. dont forget you camera!

If you want to have just a quick view about Doha/Qatar history in very short time, this is the place, it is very short visit , 30 minutes would do , not huge space, however , it is excellent in presenting the history and you can have the taste of it it is on the corniche , there is a... More

Displays the history of place in pictures and in models. Admission is free and worth a short visit. You'll see on the place turned from 60 years ago that was a backward village with mud houses.

This stationary barge serves as a 'marketing teaser' for Msheireb. Now that the Msheireb Museums are open to the public, I think it's rather redundant. The Mshreib museums were all fascinating. We spent several hours there and enjoyed all of them. All were very well presented and very informative.

As we drove into the complex, it looked empty, but we followed signs to parking garage. There was a security guard to direct us up the elevator, then another employee motioned us in to the first building. They couldn't have been more helpful with info and water. If you have a spare half an hour in Doha and are near the Corniche at West Bay, the Msheireb Enrichment Centre is worth a look. The centre is setup to showcase the developments of the Msheireb Properties group, but it also provides some interesting displays on Doha's past whilst also including a glimpse of what Doha will look like... do try to go if you are in Sheraton or cor-niche side. it closes fairly easily by 0500 pm which is bit disappointing.the entrance is free and good view of adjacent sea .its good for 15 20 mins of qatar past and future.
