This building is architecturally stunning. It is incredibly well kept, being cleaned constantly at every corner. I'd recommend seeing it twice if given the opportunity, both during the day and when the sun sets to truly appreciate the building and it's majesty. All rules should...More

One of the largest and most beautiful religious institutions in the world. It takes about 1 hour to view the mosque. They are very particular about clothing. Men are not allowed to wear shorts and women need to wear burqa which is provided at the...More

This grand mosque is magnificent and breath taking, a must visit by all. The arrangements of movement of tourists and the security at the mosque are very efficiently managed. The area is too big and it will be better if some arrangements are made for...More

We had issues with some of our group members regarding the outfit. The security is strict, the abaya or fully covering clothes are a must. Ankle/wrist to neck and not tight or brightly coloured (although i saw some Asian group going in with ladies dressed...More

According to the guide, this is the only mosque in the middle east non-muslims can go inside. It is well worth a visit. 3 huge beautiful crystal chandeliers hang from the ceiling. The decorative leaves and flowers on the marble walls compliment the huge carpet....More

How long should we allow to visit? Assuming we will join a guided tour and explore on our own too.

I would allow about an hour. You will be walking around and taking loads of pictures not only in the mosque, but outside which is so picturesque. There is also a souvenir shop as you go to the parking lot which you may... More

I will be arriving at Abu Dhabi airport on a flight from DFW at 8:10 PM. My onward flight to Bangkok is 12 hours later. I really want to see the mosque. If I hurry, will I be able to get out of the airport and to the mosque before it stops admitting guests at 9:30? I know it isn't too far from the airport, but I imagine it will take some time to get out of the aiport. Thank you.

I would say no you are really pushing the time airport I'll need to get through traffic and all then the roads in Abu Dhabi are not all finished don't think an hr and 40 mins is enough time.
