Make sure you are fully covered. Long sleeves, long skirt (no splits so that ankles / legs are showing. Leggings show the shape of your legs so that's also a no-no. Tops must cover your chest area and top of back and neck. Take a scarf big enough to wrap around and over your head.

This is by far the most beautiful mosque I have ever visited. I went to see it on a day tour to Abu Dhabi from Dubai and I definitely don't regret it! It's a must see if you are in the area. If you want to enter make sure to bring covering clothes and if you are a woman also... More

It's a masterpiece chandeliers was amazing, the wall to wall carpeting was extremely great work. The carvings on the walls and pillars looks too good and it makes the place looks too great. You have to walk a distance from the parking. Ladies have to put on the veil (abaya) and need to cover the head before entering the mosque... More

The best time to visit is around 4-5pm, in this way you get to see the mosque before the sun sets and after and both experiences are just breathtaking. One of the most beautiful places we have ever visited. If you are in Abu Dhabi, this mosque is a MUST place to visit!!!

There is no entry fee, but since all men and women should be properly dressed before getting inside, make sure to bring some kind of identity card for each visitor, so that you can borrow an Abaya (Arabic dress). They did not let visitors get inside if they did... More

This is simply a work of art. These designs are a reflection of the Emirati people. Personification of excellence and perfection.

Best to visit an hour or so, prior to sunset......see the Mosque in daylight/sunlight and then again at dusk and in the dark (beautifully lit). Ensure you wear appropriate clothing, (long sleeves, long trousers/skirt - not tight, and a headscarf), otherwise you'll need ID to borrow an abaya (ladies). Men are fine with trousers and a shirt. Internally the Mosque... More
