The mosque is very beautiful, and a must visit if you are in Abu Dhabi. Make sure to dress appropriately, otherwise you won't be able to enter.

This mosque is stunning. It is so beautiful. I reccomend going before sunset. That way you can see it by daylight, Then the sun will go down and the building will have a beautiful glow on it. Then there will be the prayer. On that moment you can only enter the prayer hall if you actually go praying. Then around... More

After seeing the very stunning Sheikh Zayed Mosque many times as I've entered Abu Dhabi, nothing really prepared me for how spectacular it would be close up. The scale is immense, the detail and marble is absolutely sublime. Arriving before 1 hour before sunset gave me many options for photography. The security as you enter is thorough and pleasant, bag... More

We didn't know what to expect but more beautiful than we thought! Really amazing designs and art - we took loads of pictures. I found it henerous that they don't charge to borrow an Abaya/Burqa - we dressed modestly but it wasn't enough and the clothes they gave were fresh and clean.

This is truly one of the worlds greatest architectural achievements Simply stunning For people complaining about the checks carried out prior to being allowed in, dress in the required dress code and you will not have a problem. Wonderful day

We had a Muslim friend take us through the mosque and show us a few of their religious practices which made the trip a lot more informative. It is well worth the trip without the guide though as the building is an amazing piece of architecture and beautiful both inside and out.
