This is one of those annoying museums that don't allow photos, when some of the world's greatest art museums do. It's annoying and inexplicable because you can't even buy good quality copies of the art works. We did enjoy learning about the linkages between Spanish...More

This was a bit disappointing place. No information in english, the videos shown where in spanish as well, poor representation of pre-hispanic art, two rooms of modern bolivian art. If you're into religious art, this is the place for you. No photos allowed.

We never got inside the museum because they insist on seeing some sort of photo identity. They asked for a passport or driving licence.

The National Museum of Art is the best example of historical exposition in Bolivia. The cultural collection conduct the visitor during various centuries of the history the Country, with its contradictions and peculiarities. Really exciting!
