I lived in different countries and always in a city that had Botanical Gardens - never did I visit them. Now was the time, the weather was nice and we felt like a walk in natural surroundings. I don't know if it was due to the time of year (November) but there weren't a lot of flowers to be seen.... More

The Botanic Garden is a vast open space with many plants and flowers to see. There are some permanent exhibitions that are indoors, offering some tropical and sub-tropical experiences, as well. The cafe is also wonderful, serving good food at very inexpensive prices. Early in the morning, there are few or no people, and you can enjoy this urban oasis... More

Botanic garden in bogota is an amazing place to fell the Colombian Native Nature. And is a good alternative to expend a Day in bogota. -The ticket is cheap (about 1 dollar) - a lot of access including for handicap party - recommended for family, travelers, nature lovers , etc. - quiet, green, lots of oxygen and nature energy. -... I truly enjoyed visiting the Jardin Botanico in Bogota. I took some of my best profile pictures there, especially with the cloudy mountains as my background. It makes for a nice long and adventurous walk.

When I visited the garden, there was a lot of zones closed to the people because they were being restaurated. Other way, it is a stunning place, very clean and green.

Nice, peacefull garden with many beautiful flowers, plants and trees. They come from all regions of Colombia. Landscaping is nice, and the fruit/empanada, and juice stands. Restaurant; food was very basic and tasteless. At the time of our visit, a sunday, all of the attractions and expositions were closed. On a nice day it's still a good place to take... More

It was one of the best little excursions in Bogotá that we had. We had a beautiful day, sunny and for Bogotá prettt warm. Our two kids were running around for more that two hours. There are so many beautiful plants to see and enjoy. The garden is clean and very well maintained. You can tell people who work there... More

Love the garden. Nice simple visit. Easy access for elderly. Few issues: 1. No maps around, only at entrance. So it is hard to know where to go next 2. Native trees are so beautiful but many, most didn't have names or regions. So it could be a lot more educational if they have more info about plants 3. No... More
