Parking is limited, but most people just pull off the side of the road. There are lots of cool roadside eateries set up all along the highway. The view is really remarkable, and there are great views from multiple points besides the main hotel vista....More

It is a natural waterfall , to go to it should go around an hour from the city of Bogota , it has a Mirardor which is a historic hotel located in remodeling, and from the viewpoint 's fall looks Water. This is a walk...More

It's a magnificent waterfall during rain season. But the place as a destination is disappointing. There is barely any room to park or seat. Its very close to bogota so the time invested is not too much, anyhow try not to make it an only...More

Located about hour and a half southeast of the city, this natural wonder gives you a break from Bogota's stressful lifestyle! Get away from the "trancones" (traffic jams) and enjoy this simple, but welcoming landmark...Enjoy!

The ride from Bogota to Salto included beautiful scenery along windy mountain roads. The waterfall is okay, but nothing great. Sad to see such polluted water in such a beautiful country.

Gorgeous waterfall from a distance. The title of my review refers to the falls being mostly runoff from Bogota The museum is boring and mostly is showing us information about french botanists from the 1800's. If this is your thing, then you might love it....More

Visited el Salto de Tequendama on a Thursday in the late morning. The drive from el Norte (Santa Ana) was quite long because of the usual Bogotá traffic. Once you leave Soacha, the drive to el Salto is not bad. Consider that the falls are...More
