Just another place to stare at the water, listen to the surf and dream. Not a place for swimming as the pinnacles are many and you definitely need dive boots. But a nice place to sit and stare.

Anibare Bay is the boat harbour for Nauru island and where the locals all go swimming safely with there family. Its a protected bay from the main ocean with high stone walls around.

Anibare Bay offers nice swimming with Nauru Life Guards in attendance. Nearby is a local restaurant with mostly Fijian staff called The Bay Restaurant offering a variety of good quality Western and Indo-Fijian cuisine.

Longest beach stretch on the island without the hassle of having to go through local housings just to find the perfect spot. Sunrise views are best here. Great place for picnics and get-togethers.

If you need an oasis with good food in Nauru this is the place to go. Good food and good service. Curries are fsairly relible and nice and spicy

Nauru isn't laden with remarkable tourist spots but Anibare is a good spot for a walk or a sheltered spot for a dive.

The hotel is situated here the outlook is beautiful but the litter everywhere is off putting. The water is warm but one cannot swim at all times only at high tide.

Don't believe it when people tell you there is nothing to do in Nauru. I spent every Sunday afternoon under a palm at this lovely spot. At hightide you can float about and commune with the fish - and if you get thirsty there is...More

Stop by at the Anibare Boat Channel and when you get to the monument turn right. Up the slope is a picturesque view of the beach. Follow the road further to the Bay Restaurant for lunch or dinner with it's friendly wait staff and Indian/Western...More
