We've been here a few times and since there has been so much about Ms. Earhart in the news lately, it's fun to see where she was born and spent a lot of her growing-up years. The docents usually have some interesting stories to tell,...More

Such a great tour, you really must see if you're visiting Atchison. Little girls get a huge kick out of the letters on Amelia's bed.

My family (3 teenage girls) actually turn off their phones and get interested in this attraction. The attitude of the home's namesake and the knowledge of the ladies guiding make it great.

Husband and I went here on our day trip to Atchison. It was interesting to know more about Amelia, her husband and family. It is a self guided tour and cost us $6 each. I would go here again.

This was a wonderful museum commemorating the life of Amelia Earhart. It is a self-guided tour with two very helpful ladies who could easily tell lots more than the written information provides. Lots of rooms to see in the house with relics of the late...More

Great tour of house with lots of pictures and memories. Docent was very knowledgeable and excited about Amelia's life. Don't miss this place if you are in Atchison or traveling to St. Joseph's MO.

As far as old houses go, the house itself was a little underwhelming compared to other homes you can tour from that time period. That is not to take away from the work that was done restoring it and furnishing it as it would have...More

This home has a lot of history. It is a beautiful little home where Amelia Earhart grew up. $6 a person for adults was a fair price for admission. The staff are very nice and very helpful.
