Kayak and snorkel the beautiful warm waters of Vanuatu, guided by local Mele Village ladies. As you kayak over to a small sand island you can learn about the history of Port Vila, the incredible wildlife and what life in paradise is like. Once arrived on the island you can snorkel the surrounds finding vibrant coral, tropical fish and if your lucky you could spot a dolphin or turtle. Kayak back to the mainland and enjoy fresh local fruits and try coconuts direct from the tree.

My family went on a short kayaking tour of reefs within Mele Bay and it was an amazing experience. The snorkeling and scenery were both exceptional and our tour guides, Nene and Bottle-Top, were nothing short of wonderful. John was our driver and was very informative and interesting. Great half day tour, as part of a shore excursion from Royal Caribbean. Highly recommend reef shoes as the starting point is a resort just out of Vila, with a broken reef beach (no soft sand here!) All your gear is locked up securely at the starting point, where you then jump into double kayaks and paddle about 15-20 mins... More

Hello Nik22192, We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your tour with us during your cruise with Royal Caribbean. Unfortunately, the intense impact of cyclone Pam has had major detrimental effects to our beautiful reef and it is still recovering, but we are pleased to hear the sea life is still abundant. We hope to see you in paradise again... More

Our tour starting with the kayaking. The kayaking was actually the method to get to a small sand island. It was approximately a 15 minute paddle out to the island and about a 10 minute paddle back (shorter on the way back due to the current). Be prepared to get wet when kayaking! I would recommend wearing reef shoes. You... More

Our kayaking tour was part of a buggy safari. We had a lovely stop at the Benjor Beach Club were we went kayaking to a small sand island. We snorkelled with lots of Nemos and then paddled back for a lovely lunch. Our lady guides were happy, friendly and helpful. The lunch was yum and the Tusker cold. Would return.

A great half day adventure, with guides you kayak out to a small coral island where you then snorkel and paddle around the reefs looking at the vast fish and sea creatures. After making your way back to the mainland light refreshments are provided. A fun and energised activity with great guides

A very easy Kayak, paddled through villages and under mangroves. It was a 4 hour paddle although not strenuous it was just that bit too long . If you want a slow easy activity this is for you. Pascal was very helpful and informative

We had the best day. The paddle was easy and the fish amazing. You could see back to the boat. The water was clear and our guides helpful. My 8yr old paddled by himself and was able to get out of kayak and snorkel up and go. We are going back in January. Thoroughly recommend this adventure.

The staff were very friendly (just like the rest of Vanuatu really) and we had an enjoyable, if choppy, row out to the little coral lump. Here the trip took a turn for the better with some great snorkelling and a great time feeding the fish. The drop off was truly mind-numbing and made sure we stuck to the more... More
