The abundance of marine life so close to shore is mind-blowing. Waters are calm shallow with no current. Great for all experience levels. Good diving, too.

Great service by the waiters. Always polite and serving with a smile. Always received my food order within 10 minutes. Marvelous customer service.

Snorkeling was excellent and easy but dismayed by not being able to bring own food for a day trip and being forced to buy meals and drinks from the resort restaurant even though there was an entry charge.

We only visited Hideaway to do some snorkeling. It was the perfect spot. As soon as you hit the water, there are so many beautiful things to see. Would love to go back for more snorkeling

Great beach for families, but be aware it isn't really sand, it is crushed up coral. So it is a little nice if you don't like getting sandy, but not so easy on bare feet.

Shouldn't cost you more than 1000 Vatu per person one way for a bus or you're definitely paying foreigner prices. It costed me 300 Vatu to get from the middle of port Vila to hideaway via bus.
