The world’s only underwater post office lets you buy a waterproof postcard on land, fill it out and dive into the ocean to mail it, and you don't even need diving experience.

We snorkelled off the beach and dived down to it. It was a bit hard for me as I’m not a strong swimmer. But I managed to post a card. The girlfriend did it easily.

Great encouragement to get the kids in the water and snorkelling. We saw some wonderful fish on our way to the postbox and around as we swam down. We can’t wait to get our postcards when we get back home:

The post office is unmanned as the divers were tired sitting underwater for hours. It’s still fun to buy the waterproof postcard and snorkel down to post it in the mailbox. If you are in the area, visit the island. It has a nice reef...More

Wasn't quite sure how the whole underwater thing was going to work. Coated paper and pencils - genius. Much harder than it looks to get down there at high tide and make sure you get the cards in the slot and into the box. A...More

The Underwater Post Office was a good attraction to visit. If you have never been it is one thing you need to tick off. Not far off the shore and in fairly shallow water.

Hi Trish I agree with Kay B. Grab a taxi and negotiate the price beforehand. They should be able to take you and take you back (you may have to pay for them to wait, but seeing as you are on a cruise you want to make sure... More

We hired a mini bus for four hours. Price is negotiable. There were six adults in our group. The mini bus was clean, comfortable and the driver "Sam" was a safe driver. He waited at each stop for us. There have been other... More

If you have time to do a round of the island there are lots of little beaches and coves with clear water and beautiful fish. Hideaway is lovely and a good choice as it is not too far to travel.
