beaty place history

A historic place that shows the era of Georgia in its beautiful past. It shows the elegance of the former architecture. I would recommend it

They even have a cafe in the church grounds to pick up some Khachapuri on your way out. Sadly the homeless which have taken refuge inside the church premises don't let you pray. They... More

We managed to find exactly the right time to visit this stunning, recently-built cathedral - about an hour before sunset on a sunny day. The light turned the stone golden and shone off the dome and made a lovely building truly stunning. Inside it's fairly plain still but they're starting to paint frescoes on the walls. Everything in peace! Something I would like to mention is just the fact of the road going there and the houses around it...not as nice as the area inside the Church' territory!

One of the biggest Orthodox Church in Georgia. The interior work is not yet completed. There are 2 basement blocks where in seminars & other activities takes place. It was built by one of the billionaires in Georgia. Lagidze water & Acharuli kachapuri should be tried by everyone who visits the chruch.

This church should be visited by anyone with an interest in Georgia. It is a huge new cathedral built on old models but with a modern size and technical infrastructure.
