We took the aerial tramway up to the statue of Mother Georgia and the Narikala Fortress. The ride up is mostly uneventful and a good way to get to the top of the fortress hill over looking the city.

Ticket is very cheap 2.50 GEL, and service was quick enough, no waiting. It moves slow so that you can take a view of Tbilisi town, old town and a good view of Narikala fortress. It goes till Narikala fortress up and down.
