The Opera House is wonderful. We went to ballet "Lourencia" - fantastic dancers, the orchestra can little bit be better

Rustavali is almond a mythical avenue in Tibilisi and the Moorish Building is the most remarkable in the way . And try to see something here will of course improve your trip

If you like ballet or opera it definitely worth checking out what is on at the Opera House while you are in Tbilisi. They have some world class performances at unheard of ticket prices (at least compared to anywhere else in Europe).

This review is quite late. The Paliashvili Opera House along Rustaveli Avenue is an imposing structure with its Moorish architectural design and impressive facade. It was closed for business when I passed by.

Paliashvili Opera House is located in Rustavelli street. It's easy to reach and Georgian show is great. Just check website for being in good scheduling, It's about 10 minutes from freedom square to be there.

Very beautiful building in the center of city, style not European and even not Georgian but in side of the building you can see very beautiful interior and the main thing -curtains ( the copy of previous one which was burned in fire 1972)

Outside is not reflecting the masterwork inside. Fascinating decorations from inside. You smell the history and the nice work which has been done by the Georgians.

We enjoyed the ballet Anna Karenina at this recently beautifully renovated Opera house. The ticket price is very affordable for the tourists, not sure about local people. If you have opportunity to see the performance, please do it. You would enjoy it. Our seats were...More
