A great place with little shops and galleries. There are all kinds of creative (and not so creative) people there selling their stuff. It is located on the main Insadong shopping street.

Came by with my Boss and colleague and as we work for a Korean company we've been to most of the popular shopping destinations. This place is thus a breath of fresh air from the typical copy-and-paste stores in Myeongdong. We walked the spiral shopping...More

I enjoyed the way the ramps spiralled up. Different/unique things to buy. I love my eel leather wallet - apparently they're only made in Korea.

Nestled between Jongno and Samcheongdong, this small
neighborhood offers a crash course in various aspects
of Korean culture. Rows of shops display traditional
Korean goods such as pottery and earthenware, crafts,
fans, and more, making it a popular spot for souvenir
shopping. The Ssamziegil shopping complex in
particular has become a local institution for its
unique spiral layout and the many boutique shops
