You like contemporary? Then go there. Yes, the area is not that spectacular. But the gallery wows me every time. Like and dislike in art is also a matter of taste. Decide for yourself.

The townhouse gallery is tucked away in an alleyway in downtown Cairo off Marouf Street. There's little signage and any guides to the welcomed and unexpected art space. It's worth visiting to see local Egyptian artists who are desperate for venues. The little adjoining store...More
