This expansive square was the site of protests. The traffic is crazy here. We walked from the Cairo Museum & held our breath crossing the street.

this square is a prove that egyptian civilization was and still a great one this where 2011's revolution began and where the world saw egyptians determination to change corruption it's a great are of grafitti scluptures and it's close to downtown

Spend your time in the museum. I suspect that if I were Egyptian or Muslim, this site would have much more significance. Our tour guide that day was a Muslim, but he barely mentioned the historical significance of that event.
