We found the sound and light show was not very well done. It was a beautiful night but the show itself was minimally entertaining. At a minimum should have had bright lights illuminate to take pictures. I would recommend visiting during the day.

One of the best shows you can't miss if you are visiting Cairo As it takes place by the pyramids of Giza

For context, I am a huge history buff and James Bond fan (this show is in, "The Spy Who Loves Me). The Sound and Light Show was dated and uninteresting. My recommendation is to visit the pyramids during the day with a guide and save...More

It was nice, I saw the show for free from my hotel room and balcony. I don't know if it was a show I'd pay for but it was nice to hear the history

Though I have not paid the price for the tickets to enter the complex, I have seen back to back two shows from the roof top restaurant of Great Pyramids Inn, which is just a stone's throw away. It is more of a sound than...More

It was a new experience to see ahead of the three pyramids and the Sphinx. They tell the story of the Pharaos of that time who built them.

The show was not the best activity that can be done in Cairo. The story and voices are old and probably should be updated. It was a nice way to spend an hour whilst waiting to catch our late night flight.

And it is beautiful. A good way to be introduced the evening before you tromp around the three great pyramids and take a camel ride and climb into the biggest tomb.

I would not walk. We got outside of the Mena gates and turned right back around and asked them to call us a cab. The cost is worth the security. The night we went, there were plenty of tickets still available the night of... More
