There are Feluccas everywhere along the Nile river so make sure to take at least a short peaceful and smooth Felucca ride as it really worths!.

Just be carefull with haglling the price to set the final price. 2 guys offered 100 egyptian pound for 2 hours since i have only 2 hours left while waiting for my driver to take me to the airport for my ASWAN to Cairo flight...More

Truly a wonderful experience! These traditional sailing boats also have motors and sailors enjoy sailing them, often opting to row rather than start the motor, which means that you get a quiet smooth ride on the Nile, the way Egyptians have for thousands of years....More

Don't leave Egypt without taking at least one ride on a felucca. We took ours right before sunset and it was relaxing and amazing. It is an extremely smooth ride.

Ali Abbas and Nasser are the best sailors of the Nile!!! Friendly, Happy and Genuine. I highly recommend them for any trip. we had a really good time with them. I would come back!!!

This was by far an awesome way to cruise the Nile river, without a cruise ship! You sail for several days on a local felucca (sailing boat), stopping at certain points along the way. Food is stored underneath and is prepared on the boat itself....More

I would like to know if the Felucca has toilets on board for overnights? Also where do you sleep, on the deck?

1.no toilets on the felucca. no following boat. Went to loo if found facilities when visiting ruins etc..otherwise, behind a palm tree 2. on the deck; friend and I had brought heavy Ts and sweatshirts, for evenings... More
