You have to catch a boat from the East bank to get to the tombs of the nobles on the West bank. The entry fee is LE40 and there is a bit of a walk up some steps to get to the tombs. There are...More

Pretty view for Nile and all Aswan from the top is the best thing there, and the it contains tombs for ancient noble men.

Nowadays you have to buy a ticket to visit the small dome at the top of the hill (Qubbet el-Hawa) even if you don't want to visit the Thombs. The guards of the Thombs are very unfriendly, so after visiting one thomb we said goodbye...More

These are the tombs of some of the most powerful non-royal people of the Egyptian Old Kingdom, some of which contain beautiful decorations. Go early, as it is a fairly hard walk up the hillside to get to the tombs.

A ferry will take you over to these Old Kingdom tombs for a pittance, or you can spend a little (not very much), cash and hire a shaded motor boat for the day and wander around Aswan afloat, stop and have tea and a Shisha...More

This attraction is on the West Bank and is easy to access via the public ferry which drops you off right nearby the ticket office. They may try to overcharge you on the ferry, so be aware that the current tourist price as of April...More

Nobles tombs...I did not visit due to limited time but it is a must visit attraction. At night from the other bank of the Nile you can see the beautiful lights come from it.
