This is situated in the City itself, on a rock, hence it can be seen from distance. It looks majestic and beautifully constructed. All Muslims gather here for their prayers. If you have some time worth a visit.

If you have some extra time in Aswan it is worth stopping by. The mosque is beautiful and offers great opportunity for photos.

Saw this as we were cruising the Nile, didn't get a chance to go here. It has twin minarets which stand apart in the Aswan skyline.

Views of the Aswan Mosque - El-Tabia - were very picturesque with its two towering minarets perfectly balancing its symmetrical landscape signature. Nice aspect of local color & significance. Enjoy!

Inside alabaster decorations and high above stained glass windows. Worth a visit not only because of the architecture, but also because it is on an elevation and you get a good view over the poor neighborhoods of the city. The mosque is surrounded by a park that could be better maintained. Inside the mosque there is a cupboard with books and brochures on Islam in different languages.…
