The tides are fascinating - low tide reveals a sand bar and little pools full of life and high tide brings waves crashing on the rocks. The problem is that there are lots of vendors all selling the same things and aggressively pursuing clients. I always try to be friendly if someone really wants to have a conversation, but these... Nyali Beach seems to be a lot cleaner than others in the area. Its smaller and more private. Less hawkers too. The Resorts here welcome travellers coming in from the beach and buying lunch etc.. A nice happy feeling place

Parts of the beach is quiet and no vendors. But the parts by the resorts too many vendors on you all the time. Location wise it's very handy to Mombasa and MOI airport. Restaurants and shops are spread along the beach stretch, one would need transport.

Very clean beach. best place to access is from Nyali International Beach Hotel Aqua Bar side. The largest beach front from this hotel.

We stayed on this beach at the Voyager Hotel. Lovely beach, nowhere as crowded as Bamburi beach. Great for walks, the ocean is lovely for a dip in as well!

Good beach to walk along strange tides. A lot of beach sellers around which can be off putting but they are friendly and will leave you.

There isn't the vast expanse of white sand that you see at Diani Beach, but it does have interesting pools at low tide. Watch out for the spiny sea anemones in the pools, though.

There's heaps you can do at Nyali Beach from great dining to parasailing, snorkeling, camel riding and simply enjoying the stunning views. Loved it here and will most definitely visit again.
