Interesting sculptures.

I went after reading about this on trip advisor. It was 10 yuen to get in and it's actually quite leafy. It didn't seem enormous to me. Maybe I missed some but it was a long walk... read more

I went after reading about this on trip advisor. It was 10 yuen to get in and it's actually quite leafy. It didn't seem enormous to me. Maybe I missed some but it was a long walk past the screens and I gave up! A fair bit was screened off which seemed like they are planning to improve the park... More

This park is ENORMOUS! With a variety of paths, sculptures and ponds, it's a nice day to relax. We went in April during the blossoms and it was beautiful! There are 4-person bikes to ride through the park for a fee.

I had a little time to kill after a meeting in the Western part of Beijing, so took subway line 1 to the Beijing International Sculpture Park (Babaoshan station). This was moderately interesting, and notable in particular for some rather poorly executed sculptures of famous western figures including such luminaries as Beethoven, James Clark Maxwell, and Paderewski.
