The marble balustrades were well decorated with the carving of dragon and phoenix. But I wasn’t sure why it was called ‘Gold Water’, as it didn’t look clean at all.

These bridges lie within the Forbidden City. Immediately upon entering the Meridian Gate, there is an immense courtyard with five bridges decorated with marble balustrades carved with motifs of dragon and phoenix. These five bridges of Inner Golden Water Bridge stretch over the inner Golden...More

Not Amazing, but still a beautiful piece of architecture You won't visit the forbidden city just for this bridge. There are many other parts more interesting and even stunning like the immense empty spaces adjoining the different halls or the building themselves enclosing them. But...More

I love water and this spot gave a nice view of water and stonework. A very nice part of the forbidden city tour

Its a small bridge with stone statues and carving.Its a nice one on a small ditch with water.Take a short visit.
