This was a neat walk way to see. Your driver dropped us off with our guide and then picked us up at the other end. Impressive garden and stone statues. I’m guessing this is very beautiful in the summertime.

We are on a tour and were brought here after we left The Ming Tomb and it is gorgeous and so peaceful as you stroll from one end to the other. The statues are 600 yrs old, some real, some mythical.

We enjoyed our walk along the Sacred Way seeing all the different stone animals. We couldn't help but join the throngs of tourists taking selfies at the various ones.

We stopped here on the way back from the Wall . It's a longish walk featuring carved Generals and animals (both real and legendary). As far as I can remember the dead Emperors were carried this way on the way to their tombs.

The stone carving was amazing (given the time period and tools available). The walk allows you to appreciate a quieter time and examine yourself as well as your surroundings. Not a major attraction for most but it was enjoyable.

Our tour guide really pushed this place. After a long day on the wall we were pretty tired. Honestly- I wish we would have skipped this and just gone home. It was basically a walk-way with a lot of really cool marble statues along the...More
