We visited the Sandalwood Museum during a recent visit to Beijing. It was worth it! The museum is the largest privately owned museum in Beijing. It's a 350m walk (5 min) from exit A of the Gaobeidian metro station on line 1 (transfer line). It's 50 RMB per ticket which is an expensive price for a tourist site. All furniture should be allowed to be photographed especially to display the proportion of the piece to the visitor.iThe huge size eg. the main hall chest on chest cabinets, at about 4m in ht can only stand out with oneself standing next to it to show the enormous size of the piece.This is invaluable for the visitor to take home.The...
