We travelled to see the Anti-Japanese War Museum (see review) and discovered that both the museum and the Memorial Statue Park were closed for renovation & a re-opening date is currently unknown.

Stroll the historic bridge where the first shots were fired. The lion statues that line the bridge are amazing. This should be combined with the museum to get a sense of the rich often untold narrative of Chinese modern war history and suffering.
