This is a private museum built by one man. Mr. Ma is the preeminent collector in China and a preeminent collector of Chinese Art (mostly porcelain and furniture) in the world. A private museum based upon personal collections of Mr Ma Weidu. Very rare, and maybe the best one in this country. Many collections are descibed in his publication. Transportation would be a problem if you are not driving or using a taxi.

A great collections of artifacts with some going back over 2,000 years. The ticket price (50¥ for adults and 25¥ for seniors) is well worth the money. If you want to see ancient china in China, this is the place to come. An outstanding collection. Plus other very interesting exhibits of Qing and Ming furniture, doors and windows. Well worth it.
