We have so very little in australia as far as our history goes. Every statue here is 600 years old and still looking great

This is the lower reservoir of Shisanling and was the Triathlon Venue during the 2008 Olympic Games. We stopped on our way back after visiting the Ming Tombs nearby. This is a huge area with a lot of wildlife. Camping is also permitted here. A...More

Cool park with various wildlife and buildings. It is a huge park connected to the tombs, but there are not many things to do. If you love natural, then this is your place since almost every different plant has an introduction. Otherwise, for me, it...More

It's so relaxt, beautifull statues of wildlife and emperors. It was very nice to hear the guide tell us all about the history of the ming dynasty. We've learned so much about the chinese culture

I was there during summer time but it was breezy during my visit. There were a couple of statues and weepy willow trees which makes the stroll relaxing. There were not so many people but I think the place is big enough to contain big...More

The trail from the north end of Changping by the Zhengfa University camus to the reservoir is a fun hike and takes a few hours. You can take a bus back to Changping (and catch the subway from there back to downtown)
