Having toured Asia for two weeks this was to be the highlight of our trip and we weren't disappointed. We were picked up at our hotel by our private guide and taken up to the wall. After traveling via shuttle bus and cable car we arrived at this breathtaking sight. The path was slippery as it was half covered in... More

It was one of the amazing experience; below words, above imaginations. Must go, Must see... I visited two times during 2 weeks holiday, it was surreal. I must admit I don't think there is a another authentic country as much as China. Respect religions, cultures, preserve, isolated....

This is the most scenic part of great wall. Though it was winter time it still looked very amazing. The forts, stone and brick wall and path are simply awesome! view from this part of wall is fantastic.

Much better than Badaling section if you don't want your pictures end up like group picture with other tourists. We were there mid March, air was still a bit chilly in the morning when we started, but quickly warmed up with all climbing and walking. The view was spectacular, Great Wall is indeed one of the wonders! The tobogganing down... More

Slightly further than some other parts of the Wall, but worth the drive - eaarly morning is best time to go - it was quite empty when we arrived, but started getting busy when we had finished!
