I came to this zoo to see pandas, and yes I was "quite satisfied" to see like "about 10" of them (also it was all the more worthwhile for a quite-reasonable entry fee of only like 15 Yuan for the general entry & a small...More

Spent some time at the Beijing Zoo last winter to visit the giant pandas, was a very well-run place, the experience was excellent. Worth visiting.

Nice visit as part of our tour - zoo has lots of facilities but we felt a bit worried when Pandas seemed a bit sad...maybe tired of being stared at!!

Visiting the Beijing Zoo, I found the Pandas adorable and larger than I had anticipated. They also, apparently, eat all day long. I also enjoyed, at the Zoo grounds, several people doing their quiet exercise. It looked so peaceful.

It was wonderful to see the pandas in their fancy enclosure but this was offset by the utter misery of the other animals in their tiny concrete cages. We cut short our visit as it quickly became too depressing.

Visited Giant Panda section only instead of the whole zoo. You can buy your tickets at left side entrance. Too bad only 2 pandas in the room & both were deep asleep. Duration 10 minutes.
