...reason to visit Tiananmen Square. Not that you need another because it is iconic in itself. You can't help but admire it as you look towards the Gate of Heavenly Peace.

While the Huabiao is very detailed and impressive in and of itself, it's kind of lost in the other elements of Tian'anmen Sq

The form is very unique and you can see unique carving of this monument as well. Worth seeing if you have some time in Beijing. You can take pictures here.
