A place where Lao Beijing lives - older generation. Narrow lanes & special brick-walled houses. Nostalgic memories of Great-grandparents, grandparents who once lived there 😂

Not really worth the time spend to see how the people lived in old Beijing. Our tour was thru dirty streets and not very interesting.

The rickshaw ride through the Hutong village was fab. The home cooked meal at the home of a Chinese chef was excellent and his singing for us at the end was great.

We spent a couple of hours in the Hutongs as part of a guided group tour. This area - remnants of the original city - is run down and unattractive. Abandoned cars were about the most exciting thing there. We had lunch in an extremely...More

Nice pedi rickshaw ride through this old section of town brought back visions of days gone by. A visit to a private residence was charming. The hand painted bottles were very nice but a little pricy. The two towers were very impressive. Hard to imagine...More
