Most people are on organized tours, so they get picked up from their hotels. We took a taxi to the port and when we arrived there were people offering to carry our luggage for us, which we declined. If you are traveling independently, you have...More

Is under renovation so is blocked every where. Can't find the harbour. Look more like a place of wholesale for clothes n miscellaneous. I was there on a weekday n not their public holiday. But the place is chaotic. The roads are up and down...More

Best to come around 6pm. Amazing night skyline, especially around 7pm where the buildings will begin to light up.

Take the tour on the river... the lights are like Las Vegas, but the river and cruse is amazing! Odd alone, but the staff was great!

Chaotianmen is the center of Chongqing and home to more and more sky scrapers. With the Jialing River and yangtze river running though the city, also as it was built not on a flat land, the cityscape looks amazing.

Take an evening cruise with many of the boats there the price is about 200yuan and above and includes dinner and a nice night scape of Chongqing. Can really give you lasting memories of a great city.

Went here for night view, but all I saw was crowd. There wasn't much view at all. They had changed this place to a marketplace. Not worth a trip, unless you are going to take a boat ride.

We headed to see the joining of the rivers and you have to time things so as not to run into the boats emptying huge numbers of passengers. Very crowded
