The pandas are the main attraction. You want to go early when the pandas are active and being fed. Don’t miss the red pandas. They were adorable and enjoy the attention. The zoo has lovely flowers/trees.

I felt very sad or the monkeys...it's like life imprisonment and solitary confinement. Either release them back to the wild or built better and bigger enclosures with trees etc etc for them.

Extremely small enclosures for all animals. Sad to see. Pandas were interesting but need to go in morning before 10am or around 4pm to see them as that is when they are fed.

Everything was old and had a communist feeling over it. The park was therefor much more interesting.

We visited the zoo in the last october 2014. Our Viking guide told us the only way to handle Pandas was to go thru the ministry of culture and then you have to be a government sponsored zoo keeper. The Panda is a very... More
