My boyfriend and I booked the deluxe ticket and I can highly recommend it! This ticket includes 2 days of using the 3 bus routes, return ferry tickets, a harbour tour, night bus tour and a sampan boat ride, all for a very reasonable price!...More
As you will see from my July, 2018 review, Big Bus Tours Hong Kong responded to my review and asked for details of our experience. Although my review provided all the details, I did respond to them with the details a second time. Todate I...More
We went on the Big Bus tour and bought the green, red and blue line tickets for 48 hours which also included the peak tram, a sampan ride and harbour tour. When you are time poor this is undoubtedly the best way to savour the sights...More
Like many others I found the location hard to find and the level of staff attention to clients non existent. We are sitting here on a side street not moving for over 30 minutes now with no explanation provided. This is a waste of time...More
Do yourself a favour and buy the two day Big Bus pass. It allows you access to so many things, and the information provided while on the bus is excellent, wifi is also provided during the whole time on the bus.
Family tried this, started with the Star Ferry over to HK Island and had a good day getting on & off at points of our interest, then at the last point of interest been Aberdeen Fishing Village we hopped off at 15:45 to get back...More
We ended up with a three day ticket which included loads of extras. Day one was very hot and sunny and we took advantage of the air conditioning inside for a portion of the trip but spent most of the time up top enjoying the...More
We purchased a 'deluxe' ticket which included a lot of locations which we would never have thought of a newcomers but really enjoyed. 48 hour pass (from start hour) so we actually did 2 1/2 days. Well worth the extra money.

When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of
quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
The green route by far. You can get off at the peak tram and go up to the top. Get off at Stanley and shop/markets and there is a river boat cruise. Do all options on this route it's worth while. Megan

Not really. We went on the red tour and it would have been faster to walk. The tour is of downtown which is actually quite dense and therefore easy to walk. Most of the attractions are shopping malls which is not worth taking the great big bus tour. Overall I would look at the map, walk and/or take public transit (bus or subway), you will save yourself a lot of money and see more.
