Well worth walking down this street - it is fascinating!! I've never seen so many hanging plastic bags with Goldfish in them before!! Shop after shop with different fish in plastic bags and many shops have tropical fish and coral in aquariums too. It's great...More

There were tons of fish and turtles to look at but I really stayed for the more traditional pet shops. There were 5+ pet shops right next to each other- all with the cutest puppies.

This was pretty exotic and the kids had a blast looking for the hidden gems (sometimes up a stairway, off the main drag) and finding the weirdest-looking animals we've ever seen. They could easily have spent an extra 2 hours here.

Walking down the street seeing thousand of little fish in plastic bags is something out of the ordinary, but not something the WWF will find interesting. Frogs, tadpoles and little turtles make up the rest. The shop owners didn't like the visitors to take photos...More

Pretty much the largest collection of freshwater, saltwater fish and reptiles you can find anywhere, and is fascinating if you are into that. I also agree with some other travellers here, it may be unsettling to see so many animals caged. Expensive property/ high rent...More

Interesting place to visit but not for animal lovers - too many caged animals, pets and fish. Sad to see them.

As a regular traveller to HK over last two decades, thought it time to visit GoldFish Street. Fortunately we were in nearby Mongkok so it was a ten minute walk to reach the location. Not so much a market but a collection of regular shopfronts....More

This is an aquarist dream. So many fish. But it is sad to see them all in bags. Even aquariums are too small for these creatures. I was amazed at how many varieties of aquatic plants I saw. Also surprised that there were actually very...More
