Most people don't realise that Hong Kong is not just buildings all around them. Sai Kung country park is excellent for walks and hills, if you like that sort of thing. Very peaceful except at the weekend.

Many trails to wander about with good directions and easy to navigate. It's possible to get out to the park from Sai Kung on very inexpensive public buses.

Another beauty that Hong Kong has to offer. We met a lot of friendly people. Cheaper restaurants compare to mainland city. The harbor is peaceful and quiet.

Moving away from Sai Kung town (which is horrible) and into the country park is a great way to experience Hong Kong's 'other' side. Amazing scenery, picturesque trails and rugged coastline await.
